Can Chiropractic Help Me Or My Child Learn Better?
It’s Back To School time. Let’s talk about learning.
The ultimate goal of chiropractic care is to remove interference to your nervous system. Your nervous system controls every function in your body. Without interference, your nervous system is able to function optimally and so is your body.
So, how does that affect learning? You may know that there are many different learning styles. Moving, touching, listening, and seeing are some of the ways new information can be learned. For example; you may have heard the terms “auditory learner” or “visual learner”.
No matter what learning style is used, learning new information relies on the connection between your senses (vision, hearing, touch, etc.) and your brain. Every time a new piece of information is learned, a new pathway is created in your brain that can be accessed every time that information is needed.
If there is any interference to that connection, it can make it more difficult to create those pathways and learn. Chiropractic adjustments directly remove that interference. That leaves your sensory nerves and brain free to communicate and create new pathways.
There are many reasons that you or your child may have difficulty learning new information. Chiropractic care may be able to help by ensuring that the connection between your brain and senses is working as effectively as possible.
