Your Team
Maria Staudt, D.C.
I’m a proud 3rd-generation chiropractor and ecstatic to provide a vital healthcare choice to the communities of Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, Waverly and surrounding Cedar Valley area. Chiropractic care can change your life. My job is to remove interference to your body’s innate ability to heal, regulate, and protect itself. Your body does the rest. I’m blessed every day to watch you become the best version of yourself and love life.
My mission is to change our healthcare system one patient at a time. I was diagnosed with a rare genetic syndrome called Turner Syndrome when I was 19 years old. I’ve experienced firsthand the power of chiropractic care in managing complicated conditions that affect many different body systems. I’ve also learned the importance of having a diverse care team and love being a member of your care teams. I have a passion for helping those with similar conditions such as Down’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, PCOS, and thyroid conditions. To better serve you, I focus on providing house-call visits. House-call practice became a calling for me when I saw the need in our community for you to be able to access primary healthcare at home.
I earned my B.A. in Theatre from UNI and my Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. While at Palmer, I served as a Clinical Teaching Assistant for my attending doctor in the Palmer Clinics. I also completed an intensive 3 month internship in St. Paul, MN where I gained clinical experience in Sacro-Occipital Technique and chiropractic cranial adjusting.
After graduating from Palmer, I joined my mother in her practice for several years before returning to the Cedar Valley and opening Cedar Valley Mobile Chiropractic.
Outside of practice, I enjoy reading "all the books", going to the movies, and attending the fantastic shows at the Gallagher-Bluedorn. I’m a member of St. Edward Parish and P.E.O. I love our community here in the Cedar Valley and am so grateful to serve you.
