"Dr. Maria is such a lifesaver! I’ma momma with 3 small children, and the demands of my body are many. One morning, I woke to an immense, debilitating pain in my neck that shot down my spine and left me hardly able to move. It was a Sunday, and we live 30 minutes from town. I was an emotional and physical mess, and felt completely helpless. My husband struggled to know what to do- I couldn’t drive, but taking 3 children and a sobbing wife on a 30 minute trek to seek care felt overwhelming- to both of us. Luckily, Dr. Maria was able to come to us. She spent an hour slowly adjusting me, sitting with me as I ugly cried, and got me to the point where I could function again. I was so sore, but it was incredible how much more mobility I had. We had a few follow up appointments so she could continue to help me heal. I felt so SEEN. Dr. Maria understood the physical side of what was causing my distress, yes, but also saw a weary momma who needed a good cry with a compassionate soul. Health care is definitely more than just seeing our physical need… and I’m so appreciative of her knowing that! ❤️"
